The story behind Rhythm Rounds

Built by a clinician.
For future clinicians.

Medicine is hard enough. The way we study it shouldn't make it harder.

There had to be a better way.

I'm a physician assistant with seven years of clinical experience. I've been in the trenches — working shifts, making diagnoses, treating patients. I know what it takes to get there, and I know how brutal the path is.

I watched brilliant students burn out trying to memorize thousands of clinical concepts for boards. The tools they had — flashcards, question banks, dense review books — were effective, but exhausting. There was no joy in it.

I kept thinking: your brain remembers what moves it. Music activates memory pathways that passive studying simply can't reach. So I started writing songs.

My wife is an A&P student. She remembered a concept on her exam because she listened to one of our songs the night before. That's exactly why I built this.

Every major topic, set to music.

Rhythm Rounds is a music-based medical education platform built for students at every level — from undergrad anatomy and physiology all the way through board exam prep.

The catalog includes clinical medicine songs covering every major board-tested condition, anatomy and physiology across A&P 1 and A&P 2, biology from cellular processes through ecology, microbiology from foundations through pathogens and applied topics, general chemistry from atomic structure through electrochemistry, and clinical story songs — each one a patient case told through music, with a full decoder sheet and 12-question quiz.

Every song is built to board-exam standards and validated against the medical literature. Each one comes with a study guide, lyrics, and mini quiz — so you're not just listening, you're actively learning.

The content is written the way I wish someone had taught me — clinical, memorable, and built around the patterns that show up on PANCE and undergraduate science exams.

Clinically built. Medically validated.

Every song on Rhythm Rounds goes through a multi-layer validation process before it's published.

Medicine that moves you.

Healthcare needs good clinicians. Getting there shouldn't break you. Rhythm Rounds exists to make the path a little more human — a little more enjoyable — without sacrificing the rigor that patients deserve.

If one song helps one student pass one exam and become the clinician they're meant to be, it was worth building.
